According to news from IT House on March 27, according to foreign technology media 9to5Google, Google has improved the Adaptive Charging mechanism on the Pixel series of smartphones, and now there is no need to rely on the alarm clock.
The adaptive charging mechanism is mainly to prolong the life of the mobile phone battery. The user charges the mobile phone between 9:00 pm and 4:00 am, and the alarm clock is set between 3:00 am and 10:00 am. The power will only be charged to 80% and will continue to charge after the alarm clock rings.
Google launched an adaptive charging mechanism in 2020. The original applicable alarm clock range was from 5 am to 10 am but later changed to 3 am to 10 am. If the user did not manually set the alarm clock before, the adaptive charging mechanism will not be enabled.
The description of the adaptive charging mechanism has replaced “Full charge after you wake up according to the alarm clock” with “Activate according to your mobile phone usage cycle”。
